All the basic rules apply here (you know, don't cross the IC/OOC line) but we also don't want you to feel overwhelmed or frustrated with a whole bunch of extra things. We're here to have fun, after all. There won't be a character limit but be sensible - if you can be active with eight characters then go for it but I think that'd be a little difficult. We just don't want people sitting on faces and/or claims that other writers might want to use as well.
If you do play multiple characters and wish to add another you must be active with all of your characters. You will be rejected if you apply and have numerous inactive characters.
The only type of line that you should run by the mods first is the death of a character. You want your character to have a baby? Go for it - just make sure the baby goes to full term, don't have your character give birth at six months because you're tired of them being pregnant. Feel free to give us a heads up if you're going to have your character become a parent, go to rehab, etc. but you don't have to. Just be mature about the more mature lines.
There also isn't going to be an update limit. Now, that being said, there should hopefully be some kind activity - whether that's AIM, comments, journal entries, random entries, threads, etc.. We'll be checking about every four weeks to make sure that you've been around. If we've noticed a lack in activity, we'll try to contact you first and see if you're still interested in that character before removing you. If you are removed and you were just busy you can always come back!
For new characters: If you haven't updated your friends list, posted an 'intro' in ~famed and/or an OOC post in ~dumped after two weeks your character will be removed. All of this is subject to change (but we'll probably run it by everyone first) if something gets out of hand. And if you have any questions, feel free to comment this post or the dropbox.

First entries / bios / detailed fact lists are not required unless you are a new member unless you would just like to write one up and have it ready before applying. Don't forget to request membership at dumped and famed!
And remember, not everyone will be accepted - this is a group psl and if we feel like you won't fit in with the gang, you'll probably be rejected. No hard feelings. If your comment was deleted then you were rejected. We reserve the right to reject without explanation.
Adds are sporadic, usually in the evenings. Removals are every Friday evening.
